                                         Indoor cat
Lost Sunday April 3 2011, Stonehaven Ave & Best Circle (across from Stonehaven Elementary School).  Maddie is a tiny female, Dark brown with reddish colouring and big yellow eyes. She is declawed and microchipped but had no tags.
Call 905-954-0430 if you see her. Reward would be happily provided.
Save the trees on South west corner of Leslie and Mulock?
I am a homeowner On Bogart Circle and recently signed a petition opposing a developer destroying/levelling the old woods on the southwest corner of Leslie & Mulock.
The woods are a nesting site for red-tailed hawk, but also support a wide variety of wildlife, and are an integral part of the Bogart Pond ecosystem.
Also, several of the houses in Stonehaven have yards that back on to this wooded area.  If the woods are destroyed, their backyard view would be of Mulock, depriving them of the privacy they presently enjoy.
I do not know if any Stonehaven residents have any knowledge/inform-ation on this project, but if so, I urge you to share it within your community.
I would also appreciate any residents from Stonehaven who are concerned about the environment and the ecosystem of Bogart Pond to sign the petition which is posted at the mailboxes on Bogart Circle.

Neighbourhood Caution
From a fellow resident of Stonehaven   We have been in the community for approx. 6 mos, and throughout this time we have been harassed by two male youth, both residents of the Stonehaven community. The police have been involved, looking into charges ranging from vandalism (of our automobiles while parked in our driveway!), mischief and prowl by night. These acts mainly occur on weekends, usually quite late - the last one at 1:30 am. We have a newborn baby, and it has gotten to the point that our safety has been brought to question. We want our community to be aware of the above situation and the description of those youth involved. Both approx. 15 y.o. 1st - 5ft 2in, short dark hair, baggy clothing, often wears a dark baseball cap. 2nd - 5ft7in, thin, longish blond hair. It is believed that both are students at Newmarket H.S. If you know anyone who fits the description, contact the York Regional Police of Newmarket. Your help in the matter would be much appreciated. We need to put such behaviour to rest as it is intolerable. Parents, please ensure that your children have appropriate curfew times and that their activities do not involve merely wandering around our nice neighbourhood with the sole intention of causing trouble.

Does your home have Aluminum Wiring
Acquiring insurance on homes with aluminium  wiring may require a specific certificate stating that the Aluminium wiring has been inspected by a qualified
electrical inspector. This certificate may have to be ordered and paid for by the owner (seller) of the home. This eventually  may be a requirement on renewal of home owner’s policies as well.
